The Dallas Mavericks lost in the playoffs again Tuesday night which is disappointing because since my transplant to Dallas they are the one team that I would be willing to call myself a fan of.
Three years in a row Dallas has choked in the playoffs, so they have to get their act together for Game 3 versus New Orleans or it’s time to try something significantly different. What is that thing? I’m not sure but I think it involves trading Dirk or getting a new coach.
The Belmont Bruins almost made NCAA history by upsetting Duke. Unfortunately, the record books will simply record a close call for basketball powerhouse. YouTube however will remember the 2008 Bruins trip to the tourney through the video blog of SecondMileStyle.
The Polar Bears are proud to announce their 2007 roster. Here’s a run down of the team and the price I paid for them.

The auction draft format was a rousing success, at least according to public opinion. I think it added a little additional strategy to the day which makes everything a little more exciting.

With 37 games left in the regular season and trailing the division leaders by only 19 the Rangers decided to play baseball Wednesday.
Someone must have told them this was a homerun derby exhibition because when the dust settled the score was Texas 30, Baltimore 3. Yes 30 runs.
The record books say no team has scored 30 runs in a game in 110 years.
Way to go Rangers. Pull out all the stops in a meaningless game against another team that has no hope of the playoffs this year. While you’re up north on a rampage I hear there are a couple of other teams playing that you could go flex your scoring prowess against.
This year our fantasy football league has decided to hold an auction draft. In researching my draft strategy I’ve come across some links I thought I would pass along. Just don’t click on them if you’re in my league!
Lacking the knowledge, and desire, to be a professional football analyst yet still wanting to engage in justified trash talking, I need a competitive edge for the fantasy football.
This year my edge is in the form of League Master 2007, a fantasy football drafting tool.
Everyone knows that a strong draft day is the foundation of a successful season, so for those of us lacking an encyclopedic knowledge a draft tool can tilt the playing field in your favor.
Take a couple of minutes to enter your league’s settings and League Master adjusts player rankings accordingly. Then on draft day you’ll be feed a constant stream of information include which player is the best value to draft next.
The Polar Bears are almost ready to hit the field this season. Yes, I’m getting ready to start the Fantasy Football Season. The team started out strong last season only to see their fortunes plummet. They ended with a record of 4-9 and 10th place.
This is the year the Polars will strive to break the top 5!.
